Faith
People receive this free gift by trusting God rather than relying on themselves.

Human deeds, religious acts or moral obedience do not earn salvation.

The Church Is
The Church Is
A community of believers in Jesus Christ.
It exists to communicate the good news of new life in Jesus Christ to the world, to teach and equip His followers for ministry. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God, build up believers in faith, and share the Gospel with the world.
Core Function of the Church
1. The Exaltation of God (Worship)
Praising God to honor and declare His greatness. Believers gather to remember Jesus through baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Corporate and individual prayer is a fundamental act of relying on and glorifying God.
2. Edification of Believers (Discipleship & Fellowship)
The Church teaches Biblical truth so believers grow spiritually mature. Believers are called to love, encourage, support, and provide practical physical and emotional support to one another within a local community.
3. Evangelization of the World (Mission)
Fulfilling the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations. The Church acts as a moral and spiritual guide in the community, pointing people toward salvation through Jesus Christ.
